How on Earth did we get here?
Jenny Ludwig is a high school teacher, equestrian, violinist, and francophone. She met Chris in a gifted and talented class, but thought he had cooties for many years.
Chris Harget is a software executive, runner, would-be comedian, and avid role-playing gamer. He never thought Jenny had cooties. They grew up and live in Northern California.

Chris Harget has a M.A. in Political Science, which somehow translated to software product marketing, probably due to growing up near Apple and HP. He delivered more than 200 speeches in competitive speech and debate in school, and made it to state and national championship tournaments. The travel bug hit Chris early as his mother welcomed 12 consecutive foreign exchange students into their house growing up. He finished his first marathon at age 10…and his last marathon at age 13. He credits his sense of humor to being the youngest of 4 and trying desperately to keep up with his witty brother and sisters. Chris’s broad interests have prompted him to pen many explainer articles. He has been read more than 9.7 million times on Quora.com. Chris also has a strong penchant for fantasy fiction, which may appear in his future projects.
Jenny Ludwig earned a degree in English and proceeded to move to Switzerland for 7 years, where, ironically she rarely needed to use English. She returned to the USA, got a credential and Masters in Education, and has taught underprivileged students most of her career. She has long conversations with her horse, two or three cats (one is a floater), and any random pets she meets, usually elaborately interpreting their part of the conversation for them. They have yet to dispute her account.
Jenny and Chris met each other again after concluding what one might call “starter marriages” to others. So far, so good.
